A small note

If you’ve been anywhere near the AI and tech world lately, you know there’s a new tool popping up every 5 minutes.

It’s overwhelming. It’s noisy. It’s a little too easy to fall into shiny object syndrome (trust me, been there, done that).

But today, I’m not dropping another endless "directory" on you (you’ve probably already seen sites like There’s An AI For That).

Instead, I’m sharing something different:

My personal picks.

These are the tools that didn’t just hype their way onto my radar.

They earned their spot by actually making my life easier, saving me time, and giving me more freedom.

I’ve tried hundreds (no exaggeration) of tools across the years — for my personal projects, for client work, and for pure curiosity.

Most came and went.

Only a few survived the long haul ⏰.

Some were total shiny objects I got excited about and dropped.

But a select few?

They’ve genuinely helped me grow, work smarter, and even enjoy more time away from the laptop.

You’ll also notice — I sometimes recommend more than one tool per category.

That’s because different tools served different purposes depending on what I was working on (and who I was working with).

And yes, a quick heads up:

Many of the links you’ll find are affiliate links.

That means if you decide to grab a tool through my link, it won’t cost you anything extra — but it will help fund my ongoing travel addiction 🌴.

(So, thank you in advance if you do!)

If you want to grab some great deals on most of the software mentioned below, I’ve got mine via Secret. Personally, this was one of the best investments I’ve made! It gave me access to some of the most insane deals and they keep adding more. Here are some that I got access to:

So here goes…

Planning & organizing my stuff

Miro

I can’t recommend this enough. This is my go-to for mapping out workflows, mindmapping, and brainstorming complex ideas visually. It’s super intuitive, and it’s saved me countless hours trying to explain processes to others.

Kortex

An awesome tool for organizing all my resources, notes, and documents in one place. I’ve only started using this recently (slowly phasing out of Notion).

What I love about Kortex is that with one subscription, you get access to all the latest AI chat models from OpenAI, Claude and Gemini. They even have a neat Desktop platform - no overwhelming clutter, just exactly what you need to manage information smartly.

Notion

For the longest time, I’ve been using Notion to run my entire business. I use it for personal project management, content planning, journaling - pretty much everything. It’s insanely flexible, and you can build anything from simple to super complex systems without feeling overwhelmed.

I also use it to share my resources (like this one) as it’s super simple.
